Our Vessel was immaculately prepared for us both mechanically and in the accommodation provided, with enough catering facilities to supply a medium sized restaurant.
You were so right when you advised that all we had to bring was top sheets , towels and food supplies, but I would add be sure to bring yours smiles because they will be in constant use.
We are already thumbing through diaries looking for a window for a return excursion as a bloke would have to be bonkers to pass up a chance at any time, to sample your Clyde River Break.

"We had a great few days on your houseboat 'Acacia', and will certainly be making another trip.
We've travelled the world and think the Clyde River is one of the most accessible and beautiful rivers we've seen. It was such a pleasure to cruise down it and enjoy the lovely scenery and atmosphere.
Wonderful visual effects occur at night when the river is like a mill pond and refraction of the moonlight, particularly on a slightly cloudy night, gives the illusion of great depth and clarity of the river.

"A house boat weekend trip has been something that I always longed to do but just never got around to. Being given the task of building this website for Clyde River Houseboats gave me that opportunity, as fresh photography had to be obtained.
As we needed two photographers to get what we needed to realistically display to you what a house boat holiday on the Clyde River is really all about, I organised the brilliantly talented photographer Steve Raine (
) and our families as our wonderful models
(thanks guys!) to join us for the task.
The hardest part of the journey was prying me away from my keyboard to hit the road!
Our hosts treated us entirely as "normal" guests and I was very impressed with their helpfulness, river knowledge, hospitality and care.
Because of our large party we established a land base at Nelligen which gave us greater flexibility and catered for the family (models) needs.
In amongst the hard work of image backup, organisation and photography I allowed myself to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery up the Clyde, it is really awe inspiring.
One of my favourite parts of the trip was getting to eat the props!
I highly recommend this unique South Coast NSW Australian experience to all.
